Updates...

1. We had a very white Christmas. About 11-13 inches at our house. I have been in the Pacific NW for 4 years now, I've been spoiled with mild winters. I did not enjoy the snow as much as I thought I would.

2. Grandma and Grandpa Smoot made it to Christmas, but my present to Max did not. It arrived yesterday. It was still his favorite present. Check out the pic.

I know this might seem a bit spacey of me, but I didn't realize a small piano could make so much noise.I really did think it was going to be a "quiet" piano. Feel free to bring ear plugs to my house when visiting, on second thought, could you pick me up a pair as well?

3. Jeffrey has left us for the Far East. He will be dining on soup dumplings and we will be missing him tremendously. Both of us have no qualms admitting our co-dependency, it will be a long 12 days. Next time, he's going to have to go with ALL of us in tow.

4. Lucas doesn't like sleeping which means I don't like Lucas. Just kidding, I love him, I really really really do, at least that's why I haven't sold him to gypsies yet. Check out his new haircut.

Your kids are to die for darling! Reed doesn't sleep either, maybe we could lock him and Lucas in a room together at night and see what happens!

Your kids are so cute! love the cut and the piano! How fun! My man is gone too for the whole month of Jan. It blows, but what do you do?

Good luck with Jeff away--eeek--I couldn't handle that- the days alone and the thought of him eating great food I wouldn't be eating! And about that piano: it could just dissapear one night after bedtime...

Good luck on the 12 days, I have done it myself. Hey and if you happen to find Gypsies that will take children, have the stop off for one of mine or both if they please.

Good luck with the 12 days. That stinks! I'm dependant on my hubby too.

You crack me up. Hope Lucas gets some shut eye soon!

So glad to hear you are well. I have been meaning to call and check in on you.I am sorry for the little Lucas problem and the no sleeping. You can ship him to me in UT anytime. I love how naive you were about the piano. Size doesn't matter. They are all noisy!! Call me when you find a spare and quiet moment when the boys crash from exhaustion. We need to talk about our girls trip. You'll have earned it while Jeff is away these next couple of weeks :)

Took,
I have been debating weither or not I should leave you a comment but this is Crystal Searle now Simpson. Trina was telling me in an email that you had commented on the weather in Portland on your blog and it kinda freaked me out because just last week I found myslef wondering how you were and what you have been up to. I am not making up stories I really did, but the interesting part is she was telling me about the weather in Portland because I live in Portland too. I started a blog to keep in touch with my family in Utah and my husbands in Wyoming never did I think I would connect with so many old friends. It would be good to hear from you. My blog address is www.devinandcrystal.blogspot.com
