I think this is what went through my heart and mind as I sent off our first child to preschool this morning. I think all of us were ready to start a new adventure. And if there was ever a kid socially ready for preschool it would be Max. But there was also a part of my heart that wanted him to just be frozen in time and I can scarcely believe that he is old enough to be enrolled in preschool. I love having Max at home. But, I'm so excited for Max and the world he will discover out there. I'm excited for the world to meet Max as he sings out to the world, yet I want him to be assured that even when the world doesn't sing back, he has a place to come back to where we are always waiting to hear the next tune.
