Why Meth Sucks!

This is really not a deep thought out rant so bear with me. Meth is an epidemic that has swept the country. While I understand the depth and severity of the problem, I really haven't paid too much attention to the laws that have come into effect due to the problem with meth cookers. UNTIL...I was 21 weeks pregnant, had a teething baby at my hip, and the most severe head cold I have had as an adult this weekend. It took speaking to 5 different nurses, 2 calls to Kaiser which I was put on hold for 2 hours, about 25 sinus rinses, and 48 hours of waiting to be approved for some pseudoephedrine. In fact, it took so long that the nurse was afraid it had turned from a head cold to a serious sinus infection ( a big fat YIKES! during a pregnancy!) And in the end, I needed only ONE pill to make it all clear up. IF this had been 3 years ago, I could have sent Jeff down the street and bought a box within 10 mins. So now my crusade is to arrest all the meth cookers, put them in a room together, and give them a shot in the arm of my sinus cold, and watch them suffer.
